Service Description
Do you have a child at home who loves the outdoors and everything animal? Our Kids Party is sure to make their WILDEST dreams come true! Designed to deliver education and key wildlife safety strategies in a fun and age appropriate way that can be catered to just about any skill and experience level. As this service is offered to such a wide range of ages, we have two different set up options. Set Up 1 is our wildlife display, this is the recommended layout, especially with younger children (2-9 years) who may be to wriggly to sit through a talk, or older teenagers who would rather have more of a one on one chat while they explore the animals at their own pace. This gives the children the freedom to come and go from the space if they wish, and ask all the questions they desire as they get a much more interactive experience with the animals. Set Up 2 is more suited to children aged 10 and up, if everyone attending has some interest in reptiles and will be able to sit and listen. We can provide an informative talk about the species we bring along, which is preferred for those looking to listen and learn, and take a bit more of a hands off approach. Set up 1: One table with a display enclosure and reptile decorations, two touch pools with lizards and a turtle, and a staff member holding a small snake and one holding the crocodile/big snake of choice. Animals Include 2x lizards, 2x snakes, 1x frog, 1x turtle, 1x crocodile. Set up 2: One hour talk on reptiles and amphibians with the opportunity to touch all but the frogs, and the birthday person able to hold all animals (once again frogs excluded). Animals Include 2x lizards, 2x snakes, 1x frog, 1x turtle, 1x crocodile. A standard birthday package is $400, this covers an hour of interactive 1on1 reptile time, set up and pack up time, and local travel time. If you wish to add to your booking, it is an extra $150 for every additional hour. Travel of up to 20 minutes from our base is included in your booking. For travel beyond this, a travel fee of 90c per km will apply. All bookings require a minimum of 1 hour. Please note we arrive 30 minutes prior to booking to set up and takes 15-30 minutes to pack down. This time is included in your booking. For larger bookings or events that require extra support, additional staff fees may apply. We’ll always chat with you about this beforehand so there are no surprises.
Cancellation Policy
Sometimes things don’t go quite as planned, so here’s how we handle cancellations and refunds: If an event has to be cancelled due to something outside of our control, refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If we need to cancel for any other reason, you’ll receive a full refund of what you’ve paid. We may occasionally need to adjust the line-up, date, or time of a show, but we’ll always get in touch with you to talk through the options. If you need to reschedule, just let us know — we’re happy to find a new date and time that works, and there’s no extra charge for this. If you need to cancel your booking: Up to 4 days before the event: 75% refund Within 4 days of the event: 50% refund Within 24 hours of the event: no refund, but we’ll do our best to reschedule where possible If you’re facing unusual circumstances and feel a refund outside these terms may apply, please get in touch and we’ll be glad to chat.
